Congress should be held responsible for bomb blasts:Singh
Panaji, Oct 7 (UNI) Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh today alleged that Congress should be held responsble for the recent bomb blasts in Delhi.
However, regarding the involvement of students of Jamia Millia Islamia University in the Delhi bomb blasts, Mr Singh said a proper investigation should be done before taking any action.
Mr Singh, who is holidaying at Canacona about 70 kms from here in south Goa, speaking to mediapersons here, denied that he was suporting terrorism in the country, adding that some people with vested interests alongwith the media were trying to spoil his name.
He also strongly condemned the series of bomb blasts in Delhi, Mumbai, Karnataka and Gujarat and said that they should be thoroughly probed.
''I am indian and will always remain loyal to my country,'' Mr singh added.
He also demanded judicial inquiry into Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma's death in the Jamia Nagar encounter.
Replying to the question on whether Mr Singh had met Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray, he said, ''I respect Mr Thackeray as a leader and wished him long life to serve the people of India.'' UNI SRN SR RL HT1900
