BJP questions TRS' commitment to Telangana issue

Hyderabad, Oct 7 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Secretary N Indrasena Reddy today questioned the TRS' sincerety on the issue of realising Statehood for the Telangana region.

Talking to newspersons here today, the BJP leader took strong objection to the TRS reaching an ''in principle'' understanding with the Communist Party of India(Marxist), a party vehmently opposed to creation of separate Telangana State.

The TRS was more concerned about striking political alliances and winning seats in the elections to the Lok Sabha and the State Assembly in Andhra Pradesh, rather than spearheading the Telangana movement, he claimed.
