60-yr-old killed due to lightning

Nashik, Oct 7 (UNI) A 60-year-old man was killed after he was struck by a lightning in Gulwanch village of Sinnar taluka of the district yesterday.

According to sources, the deceased, identified as Vithoba Sangle (a resident of Gulwanch, Sinnar taluka), was busy doing some work near his house when a lightning struck him.

With his death, the number of those dead in rain-ralated incidents since October five has gone up to seven.

Meanwhile, bodies of the three persons, drowned in a nullah at Waghambe village in Baglan taluka of the district, were found yesterday.
