Six robbers held in UP

Kanpur, Oct 6 (UNI) People today busted a robbery gang with the arrest of six persons in the industrial city of Uttar Pradesh.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Ramlal Verma said the syndicate used to rob motor cycles, mobile sets and other valuables.

On a tip-off, Kalyanpur police raided a flat in Ambedkarpuram area and recovered four motor cycles, 13 mobilesets, CDs, cassettes and musical systems from the spot.

The arrested miscreants have confessed their involvement in several loots, the SP added.

Ironically, the robbers hold good educational background. One of them was also pursuing MBA, he informed.
