Five people arrested for attack on Panchayat Representative
Nahan, Oct 6 (UNI) Five workers of a mining company here were today arrested for attacking panchayat members of Gojjar village for their refusal to provide No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the mine owner to run a stone crusher in the area.
Police arrested Tapender Singh, Sher Singh, Chattar Singh, Rajender Thakur and Arjun Singh, employees of Yamuna Mine and Mineral Company Stone Crusher, for the attack in which several people were injured.
