Britney eying Broadway to launch powerful comeback?

Washington, October 6 : Pop diva Britney Spears is said to be eyeing Broadway to launch her powerful comeback.

During her trip to New York for the promotion of her latest single 'Womanizer', the singer checked out the musical performance of 'In the Heights', reports Contactmusic.

She is purportedly on the look out for the right part fit to announce her stage debut, sources tell the New York Daily News.

Britney has in the past acted in 'Crossroads' movie and various episodes of 'How I Met Your Mother', an American situation comedy.

The pop icon recently gleamed at the MTV Video Music Awards when she walked away with three trophies - 'Video of the Year', 'Best Female Video' and 'Best Pop Video' and is set to release her sixth studio album, 'Circus', on 2nd December -her 27th birthday.
