Balakrishna holds meeting ahead of debut in politics

Hyderabad, Oct 5 (UNI) Ahead of his debut into Andhra Pradesh politics on October 24, Telugu film actor and the former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao's son Nandamuri Balakrishna held a meeting with his admirers here today.

Addressing his fans, the actor exhorted them to strive hard for the victory of the TDP in the coming elections and return of Mr N Chandrababu Naidu as the Chief Minister of the state, ousting the ''corrupt'' Congress.

Mr Balakrishna will formally enter politics by appearing in the 'Yuva Garjana' (roar of youth) meeting to be organised by the TDP at Guntur later this month to woo the youth in a big way into the party.

His nephews and Tollywood stars Kalyan Ram, Tarakaratna and NTR (Junior), whom the TDP had decided to put in the fray to counter the possible influence of actor-turned politician Chiranjeevi, also attended the meeting.
