Naveen invites Tata to set up the Nano car project in Orissa
Bhubaneswar, Oct 4 (UNI) Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today invited Tata Motors to set up the Nano car project at Gopalpur in the state.
In a letter to Tata Motors Chairman Ratan Tata, the Chief Minister said newspaper reports indicated that Tata Motors was facing certain problems for grounding the car project at Singur in West Bengal.

Gopalpur is situated on NH-5 connecting Kolkata to Chennai.
Orissa, the Chief Minister said, has become a favourable destination for investment in metal, IT, tourism sector and for the last three consecutive years, received the highest investment in the country.
The Industrial Policy Resolution, 2007, of the state government offering attractive incentives to industries would also be available if a decision was taken to set up the project in Orissa, the Chief Minister said.
