''The need of the hour is to create employment in private and public sectors and inlcude the neglected class in the mainstream of the society,''the LJP leader said.
The release also lambasted Ms Mayawati for selecting her successor in the party from her caste.''Owing to this, the Dalit class is feeling cheated,'' it pointed out.
The LJP is also trying to make its presence felt in Uttar Pradesh and desires to contest on some seats in the coming Lok Sabha polls. The LJP leader appealed to the Dalit and backward sections to support the party in order to expose the caste politics of the BSP.
