Four terrorists remanded to judicial custody
Mangalore, Oct 4 (UNI) The four suspected terrorists, arrested yesterday have been remanded to Judicial custody till October 17 by the JMFC III court today.
The court directed that the Mumbai police, who have come with body warrent to take the four arrested suspected terrorists, to contact the local police and jail authorities for taking the arrested to Mumbai for interrogation.
The district police along with the Anti Naxal Force (ANF) and Mumbai police in a joint operation yesterday raided a house in the wee hours at Muttachery in Ullal and arrested Mohammed Ali and his son Javed Ali. Later, on the information provided by them the police also raided houses at Chembugudde in Ullal, Subhashnagar near Pandeshwar in the city and at Haleyangady near Mulky and arrested two more persons- Naushad and Ahmed Bawa who were all members Indian Mujahideen outfit.
During the operation, the police also seized five crude bombs,cash of Rs 13.39 lakh, several CDs containing jehad literature, sim cards, hard disks, one Laptop and passports.
While the police who have took three more persons into custody yesterday have been detained for further questioning.
