Doctors on strike over assault
Gorakhpur, Oct 4 (UNI) Irate over the alleged manhandling of medicos at the Baba Raghavdas Medical college here over the death of a child late last night, the junior doctors boycotted work and observed a strike today.
According to official sources, a child succumbed during the course of treatment at Nehru hospital of the medical college late last night following which his family created furore and assaulted junior doctors on duty.
Today the doctors went on strike hampering the emergency and other medical facilities at the medical college.
