CPI(M) protests against Rice visit, hoists black flags

Chennai, Oct 4 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) today hoisted black flags at their offices in the city and put up posters, protesting against the visit of US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to India.

The party, which has been vociferously opposing the Indo-US nuclear deal, hoisted black flags in three places here as a mark of protest against Ms Rice's visit.

The party also put up posters in the city against the signing of the agreement and demanding that Ms Rice must go back.
