West Bengal: Body recovered from Bhatpara
Barrackpore, Oct 4: Police recovered a body of a 35-year old man near the Bhatpara Municipality office under Jagaddal police station in North 24 Parganas this morning.
Police suspected that the body was dumped after killing the youth elsewhere. Marks of slitting of throat by sharp weapon, besides bullet injuries, were found on the body, police said.
The victim, Mohammad Dinesh Shaw, a resident of Bhatpara, was said to be a miscreant.
The body was sent for post-mortem and an investigation started, police added.
