USA $ 700 bail out plan to benefit AP BPO firms

Hyderabad, Oct 3 (UNI) Expecting the 0 billion plus US bail out plan to benefit the Business Process Outsourcing companies, the Andhra Pradesh Government today decided to give a further boost to Information Technology and IT-enabled industry.

Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was reviewing the functioning of IT and IT enabled services at the Secretariat, an official release here said.

''The USD 700 billion plus US bail out plan is expected to create more work for the Indian BPO industry. With refinement of overall business and marketing strategy, industry seems to be on track in medium to long term perspective'' The Chief Minister was informed that as far as Post Matric Scholarship Management System is concerned, initiatives are taken for online application for scholarships, to be directly credited to the Student's account in Bank. Implementation has started in SC, ST and BC departments and more than nine lakh students had already applied.

For School Examination Management System, towards a complete end to end solution, facilities have been created for filing application online, Hall Ticket generation, Examination result declaration, Student services, SSC Certificates and Recounting of Marks.
