Superannuation age of ICMR scientists raised to 62 yrs

New Delhi, Oct 3 (UNI) The Government today raised the superannuation age of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) scientists from 60 to 62 years.

''This would enable the Council to retain the services of experienced scientists, and attract talented scientists, thereby bolstering medical research activities in the country,'' Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi told reporters after the Union Cabinet meeting that took the decision.
