Patiala feeder-1 Canal to remain closed for 27 days

Chandigarh, Oct 3 (UNI) Kotla Branch off taking from Patiala feeder-1 Canal will remain closed for 27 days from October 12 to November 7 to carry out the sidelining work of Kotla Branch.

According to an official spokesman, the Kotla Branch off taking from Patiala feeder-1 will be closed after taking in account the state of crops and weather.

He said that notification in this regard has been issued under the Rule 63 of Northern India Canal and Drainage act 1873.
