K'taka Govt to honour Abhinava, Vijendra and Sushil tomorrow

Mysore, Oct 3 (UNI) Olympic Gold medalist Abhivana Bindra, Bronze medalists Vijendra Singh and Sushil Kumar will be honoured in front of Mysore Palace by the Karnataka tomorrow at a glittering function organised in connection with the ongoing world famous Dasara Festivities.

While Abhinav would be presented with a Cheque for Rs 10 lakhs, Vijendra and Sushil would get a purse of Rs five lakhs each.

Abhinave would declare open the three day State level Dasara Sports to be held for Men and Women.

Adventure sports like hill climing, cycle race, power lifting , Best Physic competitions besides half-marathon would be held on October five.

Seven sports persons from the state, who represented the country in the Beijing Olympics, would be honoured on the occasion.
