K'taka fails to implement Central schemes-Congress

Madikeri, Oct 3 (UNI) The BJP-led government in the state is ignoring the Central schemes, Observer of State Youth Congress B J Vijayakumar said.

Dr Vijayakumar was addressing the scribes yesterday at the Press Club after releasing the posters of 'Aam Aadmika' programme launched by AIYC president Rahul Gandhi.

He lambasted the state government and said that the schemes and programmes of the Centre were not implemented in the state while Congress-led state governments were implementing them, helping the beneficiaries.

He gave the example of the employment assurance scheme being launched by the Centre.
