K'taka CM extends invitation to Ratan Tata, deputes officers

Bangalore, Oct 3 (UNI) Following TATA's decision to pull out from West Bengal, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today reneweed his invitation to Mr Ratan Tata to relocate his Nano plant in the State.

Mr Yeddyurappa has deputed two senior officials to hold talks with Tatas to relocate their Singur automobile plant in Karnataka.

According to a release from the Chief Minister's Secretariat, Tata officials led by Mr Ravikanth had two rounds of talks with the State government officials earlier. The TATA team was xpected to arrive in Bangalore and hold talks again on Monday.

Meanwhile, Mr Yeddyurappa has invited Mr Ratan Tata to come to Bangalore for discussion in connection with the project.
