Indian ex-servicemen league to have HQ at Dharamshala
Kangra, Oct 2 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today announced that land would be provided to the ex-servicemen to establish the head quarter of Indian Ex-servicemen League at Dharamshala and directed the district authorities to identify the land.
The Chief Minister announced this while addressing an annual conference of the Indian Ex-servicemen League here.
The Chief Minister announced that post of the Director Sainik Welfare Board would be filled soon.
He said that the margin money for the ex-servicemen has been enhanced from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh.
The Chief Minister also announced two lakh grant for the league.
