BJP MP sustains injury in mob attack
Sagar(MP), Oct 3 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party MP Virendra Kumar today sustained head injury when an irate mob hurled stones at him during an anti-encroachment drive on railway land at Chhoti Bajria near Bina station in this district of Madhya Pradesh.
Police said the parliamentarian got injured on his head and hand as he was supervising removal of shops that have been erected on railway land.
He was rushed to Bina hospital for treatment, police said.
District Collector Hiralal Trivedi and Superintendent of Police Hari Singh Yadav have rushed to the spot, police added.
