M'rashtra,Italian state sign MoUs on technologies
New Delhi, Oct 2 (UNI) Maharasthra and Italian province of Venetto have signed two memoranda of understandings (MoUs) on nanotechnology, biotechnology and allied research.
The MoUs were signed on September 29 after a meeting between Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and Venetto Finance Development Minister Vendemiano Sartor in Venince .
A Maharashtra government spokesman today said a letter of intent (LoI) was also signed between state Industries Secretary A M Khan and his counterpart Sergio Trevisaneto.
Of the two MoUs, one was signed by Venetto's Foreign Trade Centre, Maratha Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The other one was signed by Venetto Agriculture and National Agriculture and Food Analysis and Research Institute and the Maratha Chamber, the spokesman added.
