Mah CM urges Congressmen to follow Gandhism

Mumbai, Oct 2 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today urged the Congressmen to follow the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of the 139th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation' and 106th birth anniversary of late prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Mr Deshmukh was addressing his partymen at a function organised at the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) office here.

A membership drive was also launched on the occasion, in the presence of MPCC president Manikrao Thakare and other Congress leaders.
