Clooney says critically panned 'Batman' shot him to stardom
London, Oct 2 : Hollywood actor George Clooney has said that 'Batman' helped in raising his profile in the acting world, even though it was badly criticized by critics.
The 'Ocean's Eleven' actor insisted that although he is embarrassed by his poor performance in the flick, he doesn't repent playing the caped.
"I don't regret anything. With hindsight it's easy to look back at Batman and go, 'Woah! that was really sh**, and I was really bad in it," the Daily Star quoted him, as saying.
"The truth is, Batman is still the biggest break I ever had. It changed my career. I wouldn't be doing this now if it hadn't been for Batman," he added.
Although the critics panned 'Batman' it was a commercial success.
