Western Railway to run 194 winter special trains
Mumbai, Oct 1 (UNI) Keeping in view the winter season rush, the Western Railway (WR) authorities have decided to run 194 weekly special trains from October 17 for almost three months, to enable the passengers hassle-free travel.
A WR release here today said of the 194 trains, 64 weekly superfast special trains will run between Mumbai and Gujarat from night of October 18. Of that, 16 trains will run between Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central, 32 between Bandra Terminus- Ahmedabad-Bandra Terminus and 16 between Bandra Terminus-Gandhidham -Bandra Terminus.
Among the rest, 16 trains will run between Bandra Terminus-Indore -Bandra Terminus, 16 special trains will run between Bandra Terminus-Jodhpur-Bandra Terminus, 30 bi-weekly trains will run between Bandra Terminus-Jammu Tawi-Bandra Terminus, 18 trains will run between Bandra Terminus-Amritsar-Bandra Terminus, 16 trains will run between Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus and 10 services will run between Rajkot-Kolhapur-Rajkot.
Sixteen special trains will run between Porbandar-Jodhpur- Porbandar. The booking for these special trains will commence from tomorrow, the release added.
