TRS chief to embark on bus 'yatra'
Hyderabad, Oct 1 (UNI) In an effort to prepare the party for the coming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) President K Chandrasekar Rao will embark on a ''Bus Yatra'' from October 15.
He would cover Adilabad, Warangal and Karimnagar districts during the Yatra and ''expose'' the Congress party for ''cheating'' the Telangana people after coming to power with the help of the TRS in the 2004 elections, party sources said here today.
Concerned over the high incidence of starvation deaths among handloom weavers of Sircilla and other regions of Telangana, Mr Rao would also use the occasion to highlight the alleged ''failure'' of the Congress Government in the State to resolve the problems of weavers, party sources added.
