Justice Ashok Bhan to head NCDRC
New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) Justice Ashok Bhan, who retired today as Supreme Court Judge, will be the new head of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC).
He is likely to take over as the new chairman of the NCDRC next week and will head it for a term of five years.
The post had fallen vacant after the earlier chairman of the commission Justice M P Shah demitted the office on completion of his five-year term last month.
Justice Bhan had joined the legal profession in 1965.
