Bahrain-bound Gulf Air flight suffers bird hit

Kochi, Oct 1: Passengers of Bahrain-bound Gulf Air flight had a providential escape after the aircraft suffered a bird hit at the Nedumbassery International airport near here early on Wednesday, Oct 1.

The flight with 121 passengers was about to take off when the bird hit the aircraft, airport sources said. After carrying out repairs at the apron, the aircraft left for its destination at 8 30 am after a delay of two hours, the sources added.
