Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) 2007 results out
New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) A total of 353 candidates, including 80 SC/ST candidates, have been declared successful by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which announced the Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Result 2007 here today.
Of the successful candidates, 165 are from the general category, 108 from the other backward classes, 52 scheduled castes and 28 scheduled tribes.
The UPSC declared the result of the Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) written examination, 2007, held on October 7 last year and the personality test held last month.
The appointments are for the Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Central Industrial Security Force and Sashastra Seema Bal.
Candidates seeking information or clarification regarding their examinations and recruitment, can obtain it on a working day from the ''facilitation counter'' in its campus here between 1000 and 1700 hrs in person or over telephone nos. 011-23385271, 011-23381125.
The results will also be available on the UPSC website, http/www.upsc.gov.in. The marks, however, will be available 15 days from the date of declaration of results.
