Bajaj motorcycle Sept sales up 6.47%
New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) Bajaj Auto Ltd, the country's second largest two-wheeler manufacturer, today said it has posted a 6.47 per cent rise in its motorcycle sales for September at 2,17,365 units as compared to 2,04,152 units in the same month last year.
Total two-wheelers sales during the month stood at 2,18,494 units, whereas it was 2,06,208 units in the year-ago period, recording a growth of 5.96 per cent.
The exports for September rose to 68,572 units from 48,048 units in the same period last year, up 42.72 per cent, the company said in a statement.
