3 more German tourist molestation accused in police remand
Chandigarh, Oct 1 (UNI) Two youths accused in the German tourist molestation case today surrendered in the local court here, which sent them into two-day police custody along with another accused nabbed yesterday.
Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Kanchan Mahi sent Harpreet Singh alias Dalli who was arrested from Ambala yesterday and Manjit Singh alias Jolly and Sukkhi, who had surrendered, in police remand till October three.
The CJM has already sent another accused in the case, Pankaj, who was arrested on September 29, to police remand till October three.
Pankaj had disclosed the whereabout of the other accused during police interrogation.
One more accused in the case, Sompal was still at large.
The accused had allegedly abducted the German woman from outside the Taj hotel here on September night and drove her in a jeep to a farm house where they kept her overnight and allegedly molested her.
The woman, here to attend a friend's marriage, had gone to Taj along with other friends to have coffee and was ''lured'' into their vehicle by the accused when she came out to have a smoke at the hotel parking.
