TN clarifies on MV Tax exemption in K'taka

Chennai, Sep 30 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Government today said the Karnataka Government had exempted other State vehicles, covered by special permits issued for the period till October 12, from payment of motor vehicles tax only for tourists who visited Mysore City in connection with Dasara Festival being held there.

Tourist operators and general public could avail of the benefit of tax exemption given by Karnataka during the specified period, an official release here said.
