HC to remain close from Oct 1 to 12 for pooja holidays
Chennai, Sep 30 (UNI) The Madras High Court would remain closed from October 1 to 12 for Pooja holidays.
Justices T Sudanthiram and K Kannan would sit at the Principal seat as vacation judges on October 7 to dispose of urgent matters.
The Judges would first constitute a Division Bench to dispose of urgent Bench matters and later sit single.
Justices Sudanthiram and Kannan would dispose of criminal, civil and writs matters.
Notice of any application of urgent matters alone should be presented along with papers to the vacation officers on October 6 before 1330 hrs.
The vacation court will sit from 1030 to 1645 hrs, according to High Court Registrar General notification.
