Four of a family get life term

Banka, Sep 30 (UNI) A fast track court here today awarded life imprisonment to four members of a family in a murder case.

The designated judge of the fast track court P N Tiwary found guilty Gopal Chaudhary, Jamun chaudhary, Girija Devi and Archana Kumari, all members of the same family, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced them to rigorous life imprisonment.

According to the charges, Shila Devi and her two minor children, a dweller of Gangapur Garhel village under Amarpur police station, were poisoned to death by the accused following a dowry dispute.
