Translate Konkani literature into other languages: Goa CM
Panaji, Sep 29 (UNI) In a bid to preserve Konkani literature, Chief Minister Digamber Kamat today said literary works in the language should be translated into other languages.
Mr Kamat was speaking after releasing a book titled ''Kaleidoscope'', at a function organised by Konkani Bhash and Sanskriti Pratishthan, Mangalore, and Vishwa Konkani Sahitya Academy here.
Applauding efforts taken to publish ''Kaleidoscope'', English translation of Konkani essays of Padmabhusahn Ravindra Kelekar, the Chief Minister also stressed the need to prepare terminology for Konkani language.
He also appreciated Mr Kelekar's contribution towards Konkani language.
