SCR to run special trains during Dasara

Vijayawada, Sep 29 (UNI) The South Central Railway (SCR) would run special trains between Vijayawada-Tirupati-Vijayawada, Secunderabad-Kakinada Town-Secunderabad and Howrah-Mysore-Howrah to clear the extra rush of passengers during Dasara hoildays.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager B Vijaya Bhaskar, said in release here today that the Vijayawada-Tirupati special will depart at 0440 hrs and reach Tirupati at 1200 hrs, the same day.

In the return direction the Tirupati-Vijayawada special will leave Tirupati at 1415 hrs and arrive Vijayawada at 2135 hrs. The specials from both the directions would run from October 1 to 12, he said.

The Secunderabad-Kakinada Town special will depart at 2230 hrs tomorrow and arrive Kakinada Town at 0850 hrs, the next day. Another Secunderabad-Kakinada Town special will leave at 2030 hrs on October 2 and arrive Kakinada Town at 0610 hrs, the next day.

The Kakinada Town-Secunderabad special will depart at 2225 hrs on October 4 and 8 and arrive Secunderabad at 0810 hrs, the next day.

In the return direction, the Secunderabad-Kakinada Town special would depart at 2030 hrs on October 7 and 12 and arrive Kakinada Town at 0610 hrs, the next day.

The Howrah-Mysore special will depart at 1610 hrs on October 3 and 10, arrive Vijayawada at 1225 hrs. The train will depart 1240 hrs and arrive Mysore at 0740 hrs on October 5 and 12.

In the return direction, the Mysore-Howrah special will depart Mysore at 2045 hrs on October 5 and 12, arrive Vijayawada at 1645 hrs and depart at 1700 hrs. It will reach Howrah at 1620 hrs on October 7 and 14, the release added.
