Russell Crowe to play both Robin Hood, Sherriff of Nottingham in new flick

London, Sep 29 : Hollywood actor Russell Crowe will portray both Robin Hood and the Sherriff of Nottingham in the upcoming flick 'Nottingham'.

The 'Gladiator' star will be playing a double role in director Ridley Scott's flick alongside actress Sienna Miller, who plays Maid Marian.

"It's a good old adjustment of characters. One becomes the other. It changes," the Mirror quoted Scott as saying.

Crowe appears to be very excited about the double role.

"We have done research and they hadn't been invented," Crowe said.

"We'll take our time. You shouldn't do Robin Hood unless you do it really f***ing well," he added.
