Raj police bust 'rave party', 37 detained
Ajmer (Rajasthan), Sep 29: Ajmer Police on the eve of World Tourism day busted a 'rave party' in full-swing at holy town of Pushkar. 37 people, including 25 foreigners were detained at a farmhouse, about 8 km from Ajmer. Police seized 300gm of brown sugar, cartons of beer and wine apart from contraceptives.
Ajmer ASP (rural) Rajesh Meena, who led the raid, said, "Thirty-seven people including 25 foreigners were arrested. They were taken to Pushkar police station and their passports have been seized. We've asked the home ministry to deport them to their countries," said Meena. At the rave party, foreigners were inebriated and allegedly found in compromising positions. Out of 25 foreigners, 15 were women. They were from Israel, Britain, America, Sweden, Australia, Germany and Spain, a source said.
The rave party organiser, Hemant Parashar and the owner of the farm house SN Garg, have been arrested under two cases of excise and NDPS Act. Additional SP Rural Ajmer Rajesh Meena said cases have been registered against them in Pushkar Police Station.
