Youth held with stolen vehicles worth Rs nine lakh
Kolhapur, Sep 28 (UNI) Police arrested a 21-year-old youth here and seized from him various types of stolen vehicles worth about Rs nine lakh.
The youth, identified as Chandrakant Ekanath Kamble of the village Kalamma Belewadi in Kagal tehsil of the district, had stolen vehicles, including four-wheelers and two-wheelers, from Kolhapur, Sangil, neighbouring Karnataka during the last two years, Shahupuri police inspector Sanjiv More said yesteday.
Kamble was later produced before a local court which remanded him to police custody to till October 1, he said, adding that among the impounded vehicles were two Tempo Trax and 18 motorcycles.
