Vohra for maintaining developmental tempo in J
Jammu, Sep 28 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today said the state government was taking steps to accelerate the developmental tempo to make good the serious delays caused due to the disturbed situation in state in the past nearly three months.
Interacting with a 35-member delegation of the Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samiti (SAYSS), here this afternoon, Mr Vohra expressed his concern over the losses suffered in every sphere of activity particularly the academics of the younger generation, due to the recent imbroglio in Jammu and Kashmir.
However, the Governor stressed the importance of maintaining peace and normalcy and striving for further strengthening the bonds of communal harmony, for which the state has always been known for.
