PM condoles Mahendra Kapoor's death

New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has expressed sorrow over the passing away of playback singer Mahendra Kapoor.

In his condolence message, he said the death of Kapoor is an irreparable loss to millions of his fans.

''Mahendra Kapoor is no more but his songs like 'Mere Desh Ki Dharti' will keep him alive in the heart of every Indian,'' Dr Singh, who is away on a ten-day foreign tour, said today.
