Srinagar, Sep 28 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government has announced ex-gratia to the tune of Rs 12,26,381 in favour of militancy-affected families of South Kashmir district of Anantnag.
An official spokesman said today that District Level Screening Committee, Anantnag which met under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Anantnag, sanctioned an ex-gratia of Rs 12,26,381.
Of this, Rs 5 lakh was sanctioned in favour of next of kin of five people killed in militant violence, while Rs 2 lakh in favour of 2 missing cases while 1 lakh was sanctioned for property damage of non-migrants.
An amount of Rs 4,26,381 was also sanctioned in favour of 5 cases of migrant property, he added.
