Renowned models showcase JD creations in city of Nawab

Lucknow, Sep 27 (UNI) Models of international fame showcased the fashion collections of J D Institute of Fashion Technology, one of the pioneer in the field of fashion education in the country.

Camilla Rodrigues Alves, who has worked for Fhm, Petropolice fashion week, Madame ms, Brides, elele, Seda (Turkey), Miucha shoes and Tenzin Dolma, a big name in international advertising world and a participant of Ms Earth (2007) and Ms Tourism (2008) rocked the dias in exquisite garments and accesories designed by the JD students, Lucknow branch.

The male garments were modeled by Rajeev Sachdeva another upcoming model of the country.

The event ''JD Annual Photoshot cum Press Meet 2008'' was organised at the Park Inn hotel here today, which was a toast to the young designers victory of being awarded as ''Most Innovative Collection'' in 'Out of Fashion' theme event at Annual JD Designs Awards 2008 at New Delhi.

The students were also felicitated for their award winning designs.

Both the Indian and international models interacted with the JD designers and shared their experience in the fashion world, besides discussing latest fashion trends.

JD Institute of Fashion Technology executive director R C Dala was the guest of honour and the event was presided over by Lucknow Centre Directors Sandeep Gola and Shipra Anand.

Later, the trio had an interactive session with the mediapersons.
