Nine injured in blast in Mehrauli flower market

New Delhi, Sep 27 (UNI) At least nine people, including children, were injured in an explosion in a flower market of Mehrauli in South Delhi this afternoon.

According to sources the blast took place in an electrical shop in the crowded flower market in Mehrauli at about 1415 hrs.

The injured have been taken to the AIIMS Trauma Centre.

Senior police officials along with the fire brigade, bomb squad and ambulance have reached the spot.

Officials refused to say anything saying the only after assessment of the site they would be able to say anything.
