Culprits will be brought to book, says Pranab Mukherjee
New Delhi, Sep 27 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee today assured the nation that the Government was taking stern measures to bring the culprits of today's Delhi blast to book.
Mr Mukherjee, the seniormost Cabinet Minister, is in charge in the absence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who is away on a ten-day visit to US and France.
Asserting that the acts of terror would not be tolerated at all, the Minister said he reviewed the situation with Home Minister Shivraj Patil and everything would be done to track down those responsible for the blast.
''I condemn in strongest terms this barbaric act of violence leading to the loss of an innocent life. There has to be zero tolerance for such acts of terror,'' he said in a statement here.
