Amy Winehouse faces arrest for lashing out at woman dancer
London, Sept 27 : Troubled singer Amy Winehouse faces arrest after she allegedly struck a woman dancer in the face.
The alleged victim was Sherene Flash, 30, who reported that Winehouse, 25, had punched her in the eye when she asked the star's permission to take her picture.
The Rehab singer is said to have then run off, at the same time crying out, "Life can't go on. I can't do this any more."
After the incident, cops were called to the 700 pounds-a-ticket End Of Summer Ball in central London, where Winehouse had performed, and took a statement from Flash.
"Sherene asked Amy if she could take a photo. Amy was OK at first, but when Sherene asked if a friend could get in the shot, Amy lashed out," the Sun quoted a pal as saying.
"She was getting distressed. There was a lot of grabbing and flashbulbs were going off. She was startled," a source added.
Winehouse, who is also alleged to have struck the official photographer for Thursday night's event, is expected to be questioned by the police later.
