New party for espousing Telangana cause

Hyderabad, Sep 26 (UNI) Ahead of the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh next year, a new political party is being formed by a group of individuals to work for balanced regional development with strong focus on economic growth and human resources development in rural Telangana.

Christening the new outfit ''Telangana Praja Rajayam Party,'' its Chief volunteer Sanatosh Kumar has moved the Election Commission for registration.

Mr Kumar, a Non-Resident Indian from Singapore, told reporters here today that he had returned to India to resolve problems in the region, including illiteracy, poverty and unemployment, with the participation of like-minded youth.
