Experts to attend KSEB officers meet

Kozhikode, Sep 26 (UNI) Many experts would participate in the 15th State Conference of the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) Officers Association beginning here tomorrow.

Kerala Electricity Minister A K Balan would inaugurate the two-day event, Association President K A Sivadasan and General Secretary B Pradeep told newspersons here today.

The conference would deliberate in detail, the problems faced by the sector in the wake of neo-liberal policies adopted by the Centre, the proposed move to restructure the KSEB, among other things, they said.

Experts, who would be participating in the conference are M S Pillai, Director (Foundation) NTPC, New Delhi, Dr S N Sreeniwas, Director, Climate Change and Energy-India, UNDP, New Delhi, P A Sidddhartha Menon, former Chairman KSEB, M K Parameswaran Nair, Chairman, Mullaperiyar Special Cell, among others.

Women's cell meet, seminars and delegates meet are some of the other programmes in the agenda, they added.
