Vigilance dept arrests govt employee for taking bribe of Rs 8,000

Dehri-On-Sone, Sep 25 (UNI) The state vigilance sleuths today arrested a government employee of Dinara block in Rohtas disrict for taking a bribe of Rs 8,000.

Police said after getting a written complaint from one Bahadur Singh, a dweller of Rehi village of the district, the sleuths of state vigilence department arrested one Ramnath Prasad, the chief assistant of the Dinara block, for mutation of land purpose.

A case of bribery had been filed in this regard. The arrested will be produced before the special court of the vigilance department tomorrow.
