Mysore, Sep 25 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today said that the governance would be taken to Taluk and hobli level in order to give accountability and transparency in the administration.
Speaking at the valedictory function of three day interaction programme for legislators at Suttur near here, he said that the government would also give priority for the overall development in all sectors.
Stating that the government would keep the report of the every months before the public and even important files would be sent to opposition leaders for their remarks. This system would be introduced to receive feed back from both public and other time and again, he added.
He said even after the 61 years of independence leaders have not corrected themselves and if this attitude continues people would revolt against the system as it was occurred during the British governance in the country.
When all the legislators are discussing various issues in the camp why not same discussed in the Assembly, he questioned. He advised the all party leaders and legislators to sink their political differences and join hands with the government in development.
He also regretted that in nearly 300 MLAs and MLCs in the state however, hardly 65 are attending and even some left the camp in the first day itself. Complimenting the JSS Mahavidyapeetha and for conducting the programme which would help interaction among the legislators.
